Campsite Regulations

INTERNAL REGULATIONS OF THE CAMPING PARK

 

Article 1

The owner of the Naturwaterpark Camping Park, hereinafter referred to as Camping Park 4*, is Naturwaterpark, Parque de Diversões do Douro, Lda., hereinafter referred to as Naturwaterpark. The purpose of these Regulations is to establish the rights and obligations of users of the Camping Park in relation to its use and is intended for the practice of Camping and Caravaning, as well as other related events, in order to better serve its users on holidays, weekends or traveling, in harmony with the interests of other users.

 

Article 2

Operating period

1 - The Campsite is open every day of the year (except for the holiday period for maintenance and staff rest).

2 - The reception operates during normal business hours, which are posted and visible from outside.

Article 3

Quiet period

1 – The Camping Park, throughout its operating period, observes the following period of silence:

a) From Sunday to Saturday: 00:30 am to 8 am. During these hours, vehicles are prohibited from entering or leaving the campsite. All vehicles with entry authorization and arriving after 00.30 hours must be parked in the outdoor parking lot. They remain subject to payment of the parking fee and the camper cannot demand a refund of fees or guaranteed parking.

2 – If necessary, the gate can be opened during closed periods.

3 – The person responsible for the Park is not obliged to call users on the phone, unless the communications are proven to be urgent or with prior notice.

 

Article 4

Fees

1 – The daily fees for using the Campsite are shown in the table posted at the Park Reception.

2 – The expected rates will be updated annually by Naturwaterpark.

3 – Rates do not include toilet paper or hygiene and cleaning products.

4 – Customers staying at the campsite benefit from a 50% discount on the water park tickets. This discount is equal to the number of nights of accommodation.

There is no refund of the amount paid for the stay if the customer has already taken advantage of the 50% discount on entry to the water park.

On the day of check-out, a 50% discount is only available at the water park if a ticket is purchased for the full day.

Article 5

Access to the Campsite

Without any danger from the regime applied to visits, entry into the Park for purposes other than camping is subject to prior authorization from the Park manager.

The use of a bracelet is mandatory. At Check in, all customers are given a bracelet that allows them to:

1. Open the access gates to the campsite, access to the water park (when a ticket is purchased) and payment of expenses at all Naturwaterpark locations.

2. The customer can charge the bracelet, with the desired monetary value (Minimum €5.00) at the Reception/Ticket Office in Cash or ATM, inside the water park the bracelet is charged exclusively by ATM. Minimum charge of €5.00.

3. At check-in, the customer can purchase tickets to enter the water park and with the bracelet they will have direct access to it, without the need to go to reception every day to buy a ticket. The amount paid for unused tickets will not be refunded or exchanged on the day. It will only be refunded if the park is closed.

4. Inside the water park, at the umbrellas and chairs’ rental point and bars, payment is made exclusively by wristband and ATM (minimum €3.00).

5. The remaining value on the bracelet can be redeemed at the Naturwaterpark reception until check-out day at 8pm. After this hour it will become unavailable.

6. The bracelet can only be used on the next visit if it is placed on the customer's wrist, otherwise it will not be accepted either for payments or for access to the water park.

7. Failure to use the bracelet may result in denial of circulation.

8. If the bracelet is lost or damaged during the stay, the user must go to reception to purchase a new replacement bracelet, which costs €1.00.

9. In case of illness in which it is not possible to use the bracelet, it will have to be proven with a medical certificate.

 

Article 6

Interdictions

Whenever deemed appropriate, it can be determined:

a) The conditioning of use and the period of stay in certain areas of the park;

b) The specific location of areas designated for parking vehicles, setting up tents or placing caravans. 

 

Article 7

Reservations

Camping reservations made at www.naturwaterpark.pt:

1. Acceptance of the total payment for the reservation is confirmed. The amount must be paid immediately within 1 hour. If payment is not made within the specified period, the reservation will be canceled automatically.

2. The reserved period, even if it is not used in its entirety, is considered effectively occupied, in other words, subject to payment.

3. In cases of force majeure, Naturwaterpark may cancel the reservation, refunding the customer the amount paid. This situation will only occur for duly justified reasons and communicated to the customer as soon as possible.

4. In the event of no-show on the scheduled date (No Show) and in the absence of any prior notice from the Customer, Naturwaterpark will assume availability corresponding to the full period of the reservation, for possible sale. There is no right to a refund of the payment made.

5. In reservations made on the transaction amounts, the respective operating cost plus VAT at the legal rate in force will be added, depending on the reservation made. These fees are never refunded.

• Changing the reservation:

a) The customer may change the date of their reservation as long as they do so at least 8 days in advance of the check-in date.

b) Only one change of reservation dates is permitted. Once the change has been made, it will no longer be possible to cancel the reservation.

Cancellation of reservation:

a) Cancellation carried out more than 30 days in advance at the closing date will result in a full refund, except for the cost of exploitation expenses.

b) Cancellation carried out between 29 and 5 days before closing of entry - loss of 50% of the deposit amount plus the cost of exploration expenses.

c) Cancellations up to 4 days before check-in close will not be subject to credit or refund.

6. Occupation and use

Entry time: from 10:00 to 22:00.

Departure time: until 17:00.

                Late check-out is not permitted.

7. Reservations for the Camping Park made at the park reception will be made on arrival order and subject to the availability of sites.

 

Article 8

Admission requirements

1 – The Camping Park may be used by national and foreign citizens, as long as they have any of the following documents, duly updated:

a) Identity Card OR Citizen Card;

b) Passport;

2 - The reception of visitors and the entry of material into the Camping Park can only take place during the reception's opening period.

3- At check-in, it is mandatory to present an identification document for all customers staying at the campsite.

 

Article 9

Endorsed

People who are part of the Camper's household, namely spouse, unmarried children, parents and in-laws, are designated as registered.

Article 10

Admission of minors

Children under 15 years of age can only be admitted when accompanied by their parents or other adults who are responsible for them.

Article 11

Visitors

1 - For the purposes of this regulation, anyone who does not have camping equipment and does not stay overnight is considered a visitor.

2 - Visitors can only enter the Park during reception opening hours and also when the following conditions are met:

a) There must be a Main Camper at the time of registration;

b) Visitors must pay the respective fee;

3 - If the visitor wishes to stay overnight at the facility of the visited main camper, they must communicate this fact to reception and pay the corresponding fee.

4 - A visitor who stays overnight and wishes to leave the Park must do so by noon the following morning; If you wish to stay, you will have to pay a new visit fee.

5 - The visitor will deliver a photocopy of identification document with photo to reception.

6 - All visitors are subject to the provisions of these regulations.

7 - Any disturbances or damages caused by visits will be the responsibility of the visited Camper.

8 – The visitor does not benefit from any discount for staying at the water park or adventure park.

 

Article 12

Enrollment

1 - Registration is carried out on an appropriate form containing the date of arrival, the probable date of departure, as well as all the identifying elements of the user, their household, the material that will make up their camp and the rolling stock that they intend to introduce in the Park, namely cars, motorbikes and trailers.

 

Article 13

Groups

Whenever Campers form a group, the person responsible for the group will simply need to register, identifying by numbers the number of people accompanying them and who must appear on an attached nominal list.

 

Article 14

Animal admission

1 - The admission of animals requires prior authorization from the person responsible for the Campsite, who must take into account hygiene and safety standards.

2 - Any damage caused by admitted animals will be the sole and exclusive responsibility of the Camper.

3 - It is mandatory to use a leash when traveling through the public/common spaces of the Park.

4 - The animal owner is responsible for collecting waste produced by the animal, inside and outside the accommodation.

5 - The animal cannot remain alone in the accommodation, and we are not responsible for their escape.

6 - Animals must be vaccinated and have insurance – which must be shown at check-in.

7 - The presence of animals is not permitted in public/common spaces: bars, swimming pool and children's playground.

 

Article 15

Identifying cards

1 - Users will be given control cards which they must use as follows:

a) The bracelet given at the moment of the check-in always accompanies its holder and is personal and non-transferable;

b) The vehicle identifying card is placed inside the vehicle, next to the windscreen, so that it is visible from the outside;

c) The material installation card is placed in a visible location on the installed material.

2 - The cards referred to will be returned when leaving the Park.

 

Article 16

Changes

The User must immediately inform reception when there are changes to the following elements:

a) Facilities;

b) Number of endorsements;

c) Number of vehicles that entered the Campsite or place where they are parked.

 

Article 17

Access Installation

Access to the Campsite is prohibited:

a) To people who in any way may harm the health order of the park;

b) To people in a state of intoxication;

c) To people who, through their behavior, may harm other users or the good harmony and public order of the Park;

d) People who are accompanied by animals that do not have prior authorization from the park manager or that, having such authorization, cause any inconvenience to other users.

 

Article 18

User rights

1 - Campsite users have the following rights:

a) Use the facilities and services in accordance with the provisions of this regulation;

b) Know in advance the prices charged;

c) Require the issuance of a document relating to the expenses incurred, upon payment;

d) Require the presentation of the Campsite regulations;

e) Keep the respective accommodation inviolable, in particular by preventing entry into it and opening its windows and doors;

f) Require the presentation of the complaints book, even in the case of expulsion from the Campsite;

 

Article 19

Users' duties

1 - Users must:

a) Respect, within or in the vicinity of the Campsite, the authority of those responsible for its operation;

b) Comply with the hygiene rules adopted at the Campsite, especially those relating to the disposal of waste and dirty water, washing and drying clothes, and the prevention of contagious diseases;

c) Install your equipment so as not to harm other campers;

d) Refrain from any acts likely to disturb other users, namely making noise during the silent period and using radio broadcast receiving devices or similar devices during the same period in such a way that may harm the peace of mind of other campers;

e) Do not light a fire, except in the places designated for that purpose and comply with other measures against fires in force at the Campsite;

f) Comply with the Campsite signage and the instructions of the person responsible for its operation regarding the circulation and parking of vehicles and the installation of camping equipment;

2 - Users are not allowed to:

a) During the quiet period, wash dishes or clothes;

b) Wash dishes or clothes inside the changing rooms, as they are intended solely for personal hygiene;

c) Destroy or harass cultural heritage;

d) Attach ropes, wires or other material to trees, without being covered in rubber;

e) Use wires, wires, ropes or other material at a height of less than 2.5 meters from the ground;

f) Cross the existing fence in the Park;

g) Play with balls outside the places designated for this purpose;

h) Use existing natural resources for unforeseen purposes;

i) Planting or sowing without authorization;

j) Make use of firearms, air pressure or other weapons;

k) Make fire outside the places designated for this purpose;

l) Leave the place where they were installed dirty;

m) Open cesspits.

3 - Users must also refrain from:

a) Ostensibly carry out commercial, political or religious propaganda;

b) Carry out subscriptions or any collection without authorization from the person responsible for the Campsite;

c) Post any writing or drawing without authorization from the person responsible for the Campsite;

d) Make use of unreasonable improvisations of furniture with crates, etc., as well as any other outside of camp ethics;

e) Keep sleeping bags, blankets, etc., spread out outside the tents or caravans after 11 am.

 

Article 20

Responsibility of holders

It is the responsibility of the parents of minor users to instruct their children on the rules contained in these Regulations, particularly with regard to hygiene standards, safe use of changing rooms, cycling and protection of the Park's physical and natural heritage. of Camping.

 

Article 21

Vehicles

1 - A vehicle that is not registered at the reception will in not be allowed to enter the Campsite except for loading and unloading with prior authorization from reception, only on the day of check in for unloading and on the day of check out for loading.

2 - The circulation of vehicles within the Camping Park is not permitted, except to enter or leave it.

3 - The circulation of vehicles without engines is restricted and may be prohibited whenever circumstances so suggest.

4 – All vehicles that are not registered and that are found within the Campsite, after the unloading period, will pay for the stay from the moment the owner is admitted.

5 – Parking of vehicles must be carried out in such a way as to allow circulation within the Campsite for other users and in particular for emergency vehicles.

6 – Whenever the number of vehicles exceeds the capacity of the Campsite, entry may be prohibited for security reasons.

7 – Campers are not guaranteed parking of their vehicle next to their equipment.

8 – During the period of silence, it is not permitted to enter, exit or circulate with vehicles in the Camping Park, with the exception of cars considered to be of urgent need and urgency.

9 – No vehicle may travel within the Campsite at a speed exceeding 10 km per hour.

10 – Tuning, vehicle repairs and engine washing are not allowed.

11 – Washing vehicles of any kind, as well as camping equipment (caravans, trailers, tents, etc.) is not permitted.

12 – Boats or trailers are not permitted to remain outside the designated area.

13 – The use of sound signals is not permitted.

 

Article 22

Responsibilities for accidents

All accidents caused by users are their sole and exclusive responsibility or, in the case of minors, those responsible.

 

Article 23.º

Electrical connection

1 - Connections to the box sockets will be made using a CEE camping adapter, which is the responsibility of the camper, it is not up to Naturwaterpark to provide it.

2 - The energy received by a unit from the power supply box cannot be granted for use by other units.

3 – The supply of electricity is subject to payment of the corresponding fee shown in the table posted at the Campsite Reception.

4 – Only one connector cable per place (caravan or tent) will be permitted.

 

Article 24

Responsibilities

1 - Users are responsible for damage caused at the Campsite as a result of misuse and poor condition of their equipment.

2 - Any accident of a personal or material nature is the responsibility of the user of the electrical installation.

 

Article 25

Reception

1 - The Campsite reception operates according to the opening hours posted at the entrance.

2 - The reception is intended solely and exclusively for the provision of services related to the admission and stay of users.

3 - The entry and/or stay of individuals outside the services is not permitted, with the exception of the normal course of the activity in the previous number.

 

Article 26

Telephones

1 - The reception telephone may be used with authorization from the person responsible, in case of duly proven urgency.

2 - Except when urgent communications occur, reception is not obliged to call users on the phone.

 

Article 27.º

Bar and Minimarket

1 - The Bar and Minimarket will operate during the opening hours established by Naturwaterpark and posted on the respective premises.

2 - Naturwaterpark reserves the right to grant concessions for joint or individual exploration, regardless of whether the Park operator has been granted a concession to someone else.

 

Article 28

First Aid Station

1 - The Park's first aid post is equipped with first aid material and aims only to provide first aid to users who have an accident there.

2 - The first aid station does not have medicines available to users.

3 - The opening hours of the first aid station will be posted there, however, it may open whenever any situation occurs that justifies it.

 

Article 29

Dishwasher and laundry tanks

1 - Sinks and laundry tanks can only be used by Campers and for the purpose for which they are intended;

2 - The sinks, laundry tanks and washing machines and dryers are located in the same building.

3 - Washing machines and dryers can be used for a fee;

4 - The Park is not responsible for any changes or lack of clothing that may occur.

 

Article 30

Laundry

1 - It aims to guarantee greater support and convenience for the user;

2 - When it comes to using washing machines and dryers, it is self-service, subject to payment of a fee.

3 - The fee to be paid and opening hours will be posted there.

 

Article 31

Barbecue Grills

1 – The barbecue facilities in the park are intended to provide support to users when preparing grilled foods.

2 – In order to ensure its proper functioning, campers must observe the following:

a) Respect the order of arrival;

b) Leave the area clean after use;

c) Products for using barbecue grills are the sole responsibility of the user.

 

Article 32

Sanitary facilities

1 - The sanitary blocks are divided so that there is separation by sex.

2 - The power sockets there are only intended for the use of shavers and hair dryers.

3 - Containers with organic waste from motorhomes and mobile homes must be dumped in a dedicated location in the Park and only there.

4 - Machines cannot be connected to the water outlets.

 

Article 33

Containers and buckets for solid waste

1 - Containers and buckets for solid waste are intended to serve as deposits for waste organized by users of the Campsite Facilities.

2 - It is prohibited to deposit solid waste outside the containers and buckets available for this purpose.

 

Article 34

Fire system and safety plant

1 - The Park is equipped with a fire protection system and the staff is duly instructed on how to use firefighting equipment and the measures to be taken in the event of a fire.

2 - Firefighting rules are displayed for Campers to understand.

3 - The Park will have emergency and safety plans displayed in clearly visible locations.

 

Article 35

Leisure Places

Leisure facilities may only be used by park users during reception opening hours.

 

Article 36

Objects found

1 - All found objects must be delivered to reception.

2 - For the purposes of the previous paragraph, the name of the person who found them and the name of the owner of the objects will be noted in a specific book when they are returned.

 

Article 37

Abandoned material

1 - Material is considered abandoned when one of the following situations occurs:

a) Is not properly identified;

b) Remains in a free area during the period when the Campsite is closed;

c) It is not used by its owner for a period of time equal to or greater than six months.

2 - Material deemed abandoned will be collected by the Campsite services.

 

Article 38

Payment of expenses

When the identity of the owner of the abandoned material is known, the person will be notified so that they can pay the costs inherent to the procedures resulting from the abandonment of the material (removal and storage).

 

Article 39

Material loss

1 - The removed material is kept for a maximum period of 30 days, counting from the date of receipt of the letter referred to in the previous article.

2 - After the deadline mentioned in the previous paragraph, the abandoned material will be made available to Naturwaterpark.

3 - All abandoned material, collected more than 3 months ago, and whose owner is unknown, will also be available to Naturwaterpark.

 

Article 40

Damage caused by users

1 - The Camping Park is not responsible for the occurrence of damage, theft or fires to vehicles, material or any other objects belonging to Camping Park users.

2 - The Campsite is not responsible for damage caused by bad weather or falling trees.

 

Article 41

Road Accidents

Any road accident occurring within the Camping Park will eventually be the subject of a report drawn up by the competent authorities, in accordance with the provisions of the Highway Code.

 

Article 42

Illicit of mere social order

1 - Anyone who, after being warned, does not comply with the provisions of these Regulations will be prevented from staying in the park, without prejudice to the application of any counter-orders that apply to the case.

2 – Infringements of this regulation, or the rules prescribed in current legislation, will be assessed by the Park Management, which will decide on the measures to be taken.

3 – Regardless of any legal action and without prejudice to the obligation to immediately pay compensation for damages caused, non-compliance with the rules that make up this regulation may give rise to the application of warnings, temporary suspensions or definitive expulsion from the Campsite.

 

Article 43

Miscellaneous Provisions

1 - Any omitted cases will be considered by the campsite management, taking into account the principles expressed in these Regulations and in the legislation in force.

2 - From the moment it is verified that the Camping Park's capacity limit has been reached, a waiting list will be drawn up in which campers interested in using the Park will be registered.

3 - All users will have to comply with the Park Director's guidelines for setting up the facilities in order to make better use of the available spaces.

4 - Suggestions and/or complaints will normally be written in appropriate documents at Reception and will be duly analyzed by the Park Management, which will eventually hear the respective subscribers.

5 - In urgent cases, which require immediate action, participation may be oral, with the Park Management Team.

6 - Covers that do not comply with the camping regulations and spirit will not be permitted, namely cloth, tarpaulin and plastic.

7 - The uprooting or planting of trees or plants will not be permitted. The gardens will be the sole responsibility of the Park.

8 - The gas cylinders to be used will be those approved for camping. The entry or use of gas cylinders for domestic use will not be permitted.

9 - The Campsite Management may inspect the campers' facilities in their absence, whenever necessary, particularly when it comes to hygiene and/or safety situations.

 BUNGALOW REGULATIONS

Bungalows are a type of complementary accommodation to the Campsite that requires special regulation, particularly regarding the processing of reservations, their occupancy and use.

Therefore, users of Bungalows/Moblie Homes/Dormitories, in addition to the Campsite Regulations (can be consulted at reception), are subject to these regulations.

 

1 - The daily usage fees are shown in the table posted at the Park Reception.

2 - Children up to 3 years old don’t pay, but are not entitled to bed preparation or towels, when included in the bungalow price. If you wish for bed and bath linen for them, there is an extra fee of €15.00/baby.

5 - The minimum number of nights for Bungalow reservations in the months of June and September is 2 nights.

6 - The minimum number of nights for Bungalow reservations in the months of July and August is 5 nights.

7 - The minimum number of nights for booking Mobile Homes in the months of June and September is 2 nights.

8 - The minimum number of nights for booking Mobile Homes in the months of July and August is 3 nights.

9 - The reserved period, even if not fully used, is due as effectively occupied, that is, subject to payment.

10 - In cases of force majeure, Naturwaterpark may cancel the reservation, refunding the amount paid to the customer. This situation will only occur for reasons that are duly justified and communicated to the customer, as urgently as possible.

11 - Accommodation reservations are confirmed after acceptance of the down payment. The value set for the reservation, as a deposit, is 30% of the total reservation price.

The deposit must be paid immediately within 1 hour. If payment is not made within the set deadline, the reservation will be automatically cancelled.

The remaining 70% is due up to 5 days before check-in. If this payment is not made on this date, the reservation will be canceled without the right to reimbursement of the 30% initially paid.

If advance payment is not made on the defined dates and is authorized by Naturwaterpark, full payment for the reservation will be made at check-in.

In case of no-show on the scheduled day (No Show) and in the absence of any prior notice from the Customer, Naturwaterpark will assume availability corresponding to the entire reservation period, for possible sale. There is no right to refund the payment made. 

For reservations made on transaction values, the respective operating cost plus VAT at the legal rate in force will be added, depending on the reservation made. These fees are never refunded.

• Reservation change:

a) The customer may change the period of their reservation as long as they do so at least 8 days in advance of the check-in date.

b) Only a single change of booking dates is permitted. Once the change is made, it will no longer be possible to cancel the reservation.

 • Reservation cancellation:

a) Cancellation made more than 30 days before the check-in date - full refund, only the cost of the operating fees.
b) Cancellation made between 29 and 8 days before the check-in date - loss of 50% of the deposit amount plus the cost of the operating fees
c) Cancellation up to 7 days prior to the arrival date - there is no right to credit or refund.

12 - The user must, at check-in, pay the amount of €20.00 corresponding to a safety deposit for the TV and AC remote controls. This deposit will be returned at check-out after the remote controls are returned in good condition. If the accommodation and its contents are not in proper condition, Naturwaterpark has the right to demand payment for the damaged material.

13 – Occupancy and use

Check In: 4pm to 10pm

Check Out: Until 11am.

14 – Late Check-out (Until 6pm): Upon authorization and involves payment of 50% of the daily rate.

15 – The user is responsible for the cleanliness and good condition of furniture, crockery, clothing, household appliances and other equipment, as well as the accomodation assigned to them.

16 – The entry of animals into the Bungalows is not permitted under any circumstances, with the exceptions provided for by law.

If there is the presence of animals, namely dogs or cats, outside the exceptions provided for by law, or declared and accepted at reception, the price of the stay is increased by €10.00/night for each animal and the client may be obliged to immediately leave the accommodation unit.

17 – Smoking is prohibited inside the Bungalows.

18 – All anomalies must be reported immediately to the Reception staff.

19 – Any damage to furniture or other damage caused during the stay will be the responsibility of the user.

20 – Upon check-out, the key, vehicle identifying card and remotes must be returned to Reception. Together with the user, it will be verified whether the Bungalow was left in the same condition as it was found;

21 – Prices include Bed Linen and Towels. Does not include Hygiene Products.

22 - The values shown for 2px correspond to the use of only 1 bedroom (double bed). Use of 2 rooms, for 2 px, corresponds to payment of 3 px. Children up to 3 years old don’t pay, but are not entitled to bed preparation or towels, when included in the bungalow price. If you wish for bed and bath linen for them, there is an extra fee of €15.00/baby.

23 – Bed linen is changed every 7 days and towels are changed every 3 days.

24 - During the stay, cleaning is the responsibility of the customer.

25 - Daily cleaning of the facilities between 1pm and 6pm (does not include washing dishes or clothes) must be requested by the customer, upon payment of an extra daily fee.

26 - Access to the Campsite

The amount paid for unused tickets will not be refunded. It will only be refunded if the park is closed.

d. Inside the water park, at the umbrellas and chairs’ rental point and bars, payment is made exclusively by wristband and ATM (minimum €3.00).

e. The remaining amount on the bracelet can be redeemed at the Naturwaterpark reception until check-out day at 8pm. After this hour it will become unavailable.

f. The bracelet can only be used on the next visit if it is placed on the customer's wrist, otherwise it will not be accepted either for payments or for access to the water park.

g. Failure to use the bracelet may result in denial of circulation.

h. If the bracelet is lost or damaged during the stay, the user must go to the Reception to purchase a new replacement bracelet, at a cost of €1.00.
